Allship Marine Projects was established in 1981 by Sjouke Veenstra, who has currently been active in the marine industry for more than half a century.
Having been a serious enthusiast for ships since the age of four, he started his actual career as a naval architect / marine engineer working for more than a decade in ship’s new building and repair yards, before starting his own company in 1981: Allship Marine Projects, covering every aspect of the naval architect / marine engineer field of work.
Ever since the beginning of Allship Marine Projects Sjouke has handled more than 500 different projects, dealing with various – mostly specialised – ships and almost any kind of maritime object. For a vast group of clients new designs, conversions, marine consults and surveys as well as project management has been realised during the past 30 or more years of the existence of Allship Marine Projects.
The images on this website show a small selection of the projects of the past 40 years. Roughly over half of these projects consist of newly built vessels of which Allship Marine Projects was responsible for either or both the design and the project management. To complement the selection of projects there are various of Sjouke’s own hand drawn artists impressions of consisting and conceptual ships as well as some further images of maritime value.
